Meet Georgia, a sweet and gentle 5-year-old Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel currently residing in Greenwood, IN.
Georgia spent most of her life in a breeding facility and is now learning how to be a beloved pet. She enjoys exploring the backyard, playing with toys, and even sneaking the occasional sock. While she may be a bit timid with new experiences, with the right encouragement, she’s coming out of her shell. She has excellent leash manners and prefers a harness for safety. Georgia is very laid-back and rarely barks; in fact, her foster mom isn’t sure she’s ever heard her bark. She sleeps in her bed or crate with the door open and isn’t much of a morning person. During mealtime, she savors every bite and prefers to dine separately to ensure she enjoys her food without interruption.
Ideal Home:
Georgia would thrive in a quiet home with a patient family who will continue to help her navigate new experiences. She’s fine with cats and calm dogs but would probably do better as an only dog. She would prefer older children who understand her gentle nature.
