Meet Mea, a spirited 9-month-old black and tan female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel residing in Ann Arbor, MI. This energetic and curious pup came into rescue when her family could no longer care for her due to medical issues. Well-loved in her previous home, Mea’s uninhibited trust in people and zest for life shine through.

Mea is an outgoing Cavalier who eagerly greets new people and dogs. She enjoys walks but tends to pull due to excitement, and her foster family is working on improving her leash manners. Mea sleeps through the night in her crate, especially when it’s placed next to her foster mom’s bed. She may vocalize briefly when crated but settles quickly. An active family with someone home most of the day would be ideal for Mea, providing the attention and activity she craves.
